About These Prints
MODEL NAMES. These are pseudonyms. Names are provided to simplify your search, but are disguised to guard the privacy of those involved. They have lives of their own to live.
An exhaustive collection of photographs and art from Steve Mills. Pencil works range from 1995 to the present. Photographs from 1996 to the present. Prior to 2003, all photography was done with a Mamiya M645 on Agfa APX100 film, and sometimes Ilford FP5. In that year, I switched to digital and have never looked back. In 2003, I started using a Nikon D70. All images from October, 2008 forward are created with a Nikon D700.
Prints are created using an Epson R2400, featuring K3 ink technology. These pigment based inks are incredibly durable, and the prints should hold up for more than 100 years if properly exhibited or stored. Prints are created full bleed, and signed on the back. I use QImage for output, ensuring that everything you see in my example images is going to be in the prints you purchase.... with the notable exception of cropping for 5x7 or longer prints. What you see here is in the 11x14 or 8x10 format, so narrow prints will crop accordingly.
Delivery is accomplished using USPS Priority (and Global Priority) mail, in USPS boxes. Prints are individually poly bagged, signed and numbered, and each includes a Certificate of Authenticity. Prints are sandwiched between two sturdy sheets of oversized cardboard, and placed diagonally inside USPS Priority boxes for security. In hundreds of deliveries around the world, these boxes have only failed once.
Prints are returnable for exchange or refund if you are not COMPLETELY satisfied. Shipping costs are not refundable.
Oregon is a NO SALES TAX state, so you and I never have to worry about that little annoyance.
My goal is to deliver the best fine-art prints you can find. If I fail you, tell me. If I please you, tell others.
